Wash and condition with Curl Shampoo and Curl Conditioner .
On wet hair, spray Leave-In Conditioner focusing on mid-length through ends to help with tangles.
Then, brush with bristles that are flexible, as not to pull at strands.
Using 6-in-1 Styler, apply a dime to nickel size amount, emulsify in hands, and finger comb through hair from roots to ends.
Dispense a dollop of Curl-Defining Whip into hands and begin by patting Whip at the roots and then finger through hair. Add more as needed, and begin to scrunch into hair from ends up to mid-length.
With a diffuser attachment on hair dryer, set dryer to medium or low setting, and circulate the diffuser around the head, while scrunching hair with your free hand.
After a few minutes, begin to ‘cup’ hair into the diffuser from the ends, holding it for a few seconds in each section. Work your way around the head, while scrunching hair with free hand, and ‘cupping’ different sections.
Move to the roots and lift sections up with free hand and lightly ‘cupping’ sections near the root. A great tip is to lean head towards the diffuser for easier ‘cupping.’
Diffuse until you’ve achieved the level of dry you’d like, as you can allow hair to continue air drying.
Apply a dime size amount of 6-in-1 Styler to hands and scrunch through hair for added hold and definition without weight.
Gia Wendt has known the power of a good cut from a young age. Before stepping foot into New York fashion week and working with some of the most renowned hairstylists in Chicago and L.A., Gia spent her time admiring her mother’s cut and style work from the basement of her childhood home. Gia has had professional training from Paul Mitchell The School and apprenticeships with Marianne Strokirk and celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel. Gia has built a vast repertoire of experience that has led her to work as a Virtue brand ambassador and a freelancing style and cutting specialist in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood.
