When it comes to creating show-stopping red carpet moments, no one does it quite like Virtue’s Creative Director, Adir Abergel. This year’s Golden Globes was no exception, as he styled Nicole Kidman’s gorgeous baby bouffant—a look that has everyone buzzing.

Now, thanks to his recent Access Hollywood segment, you can get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how this masterpiece came to life. Adir breaks it all down in his TV segment, from the Virtue® products he used to the styling tips that made Nicole’s look truly shine.

GET THE LOOK

To begin the look, Adir prepped Nicole’s hair with Virtue’s new Scalp Remedy Shampoo & Scalp Remedy Conditioner. Adir then sprayed the roots of Nicole’s hair with Virtue’s Volumizing Primer, following it up with Damage Reverse Serum, applying from her roots to ends to nourish the hair before styling.

Once prep was complete, Adir began the styling process by using a round brush to smooth out Nicole’s natural curls. Adir then pulled all of Nicole’s hair into a tight high ponytail. Adir then incorporated extensions to the crown and back of her head, adding density and fullness throughout. He then used a 2” curling iron to create bend and movement to the ends of her hair. Adir then used a brush to backcomb the top of the ponytail, blending it seamlessly for a soft high shine finish.

To achieve the high shine look, Adir applied Virtue’s Healing Oil throughout Nicole’s hair, delivering that signature red carpet-worthy shine.
