“For my Grammy-nominated friend, I wanted to create a classic look that had high shine. Pulling inspiration from the beauty of minimalism, the final look is a sleek and smooth textured style that’s sexy and wearable,” shares Adir Abergel.

To create the look, Adir began by building Chelsea’s high-shine texture by spraying Volumizing Primer along her roots and mids. This created the foundation and infrastructure for him to build the look. Using his favorite product cocktail, Adir ran Un-Frizz Cream and Healing Oil throughout Chelsea’s wet hair to add smoothness and control. Using a round brush, Adir blow dried Chelsea’s hair, parting it down the middle for a sleek look.

Next, Adir applied Split End Serum before and after gliding his straightener over the hair, ensuring that each strand and section were perfectly placed. He then set the hair behind the eyes and swept it behind the shoulders. To finish the high-shine look, Adir used hair spray and his Dyson Diffuser to collapse any remaining volume in the hair.
