These Real Women #withVIRTUE each have their air drying routine down to a T. Putting down the heat tools is a challenge for many of us because we’ve convinced ourselves that our natural, air dried hair doesn’t “do” what we want. But, these Virtue users have proven it is beautifully possible.
So naturally (pun intended), we asked these four women: How do you air dry your hair?
"I wash my hair with Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner, and once a week with the Restorative Treatment Mask.
Then, I wring out as much water after rinsing, so it’s more damp than wet. I apply the Unfrizz Cream all over, and let that sit for a minute. Next, I add Moisture Defining Whip by rubbing it between my palms and scrunching it through my roots to fill out the natural curl. I go over my whole head with a little bit of 6-1 in the same scrunch-ing way.
Last, I spray some of the Finale Shaping Spray all over to hold everything in place. Then the air-dry magic happens and I have beautiful curls with minimal effort and no damaging heat!"
"After washing with Full Shampoo and Conditioner, I put Split End Serum on the ends and then follow up with scrunching 6-in-1 Styler into my hair. If I feel like I need more volume, I pump some of the Lifting Powder in there and go!"
And, here's the next air-dry beauty and BFF Dena Stern, and Karolina together!
"I like to mix and match the Full, Recovery, and Smooth Shampoos (they all make my hair different, it's crazy!), and I mask once a week with the Restorative Treatment Mask. Then I apply the 6-in-1 Styler with the Split End Serum, both on the roots down to my ends.
I never brush my hair when it’s wet, and I like to use one of those fancy microfiber towels for extra smoothness. Once it's air dried, I lightly brush out my hair. It's always the best hair day ever with Virtue!"
"I wash with Recovery Shampoo and Recovery Conditioner. Then, I apply Split End Serum mid way through hair to ends, and then mix 6-in-1 Styler and Unfrizz Cream between my hands, and twist throughout my hair. Then, I don't touch my hair as it air dries to keep curls defined.
Once dry, I use Moisture Defining Whip and work it into my roots with my hands. Lastly, I always apply more Split End Serum to dry ends because it keeps them so healthy, it's crazy!
My fiancé does the exact same routine for his curly medium length hair, except he uses Full Shampoo and Conditioner!"
