BTS: How Adir Abergel Created Jessica Biel’s Iconic 2024 Met Gala Hair

Adir's creative journey for Jessica Biel's iconic Met Gala hairdo started at Jessica's dress fitting. The joyful hue and silhouette of the dress transported him to a French garden at the first blush of spring. Compelled to capture that timeless romance, Adir envisioined a hairstyle that echoed the effortless beauty of nature itself and kept the hair almost air-dried and free of confinement and structure.
How to Recreate the Look
Prep
To nail Jessica’s look, Adir began prepping the hair by washing it with Virtue Full Shampoo & Full Conditioner to air-dry with fullness and shine.
Adir then layered Virtue Damage Reverse™ Serum root to tip to repair and protect Jessica’s newly blonde hair from heat.
Style
After Jessica’s mane air-dried completely, Adir added a few tracks of Hidden Crown® Clip in Medium/Light Brown with Highlights (#5/24) to add fullness and body in the back.
He then took Kristin Ess 1 1/4" Curling Iron to create very gentle waves that enhanced the style and gave it an almost air dried effect.
To finish, he used Virtue Healing Oil to add shine and softness without weighing down the hair.
