Connie McKnight loves being a stylist because she loves her clients. "I have the best, most amazing and down-to-earth clients!" She also loves the creative side of her work. "Cutting hair is like drawing, and coloring is like painting. So every day I get to come to work and do art. It's awesome!" Connie has been a stylist since 2006, was a stylist for Gary Manuel and an Educator at the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute. Connie has designed hair and done hair internationally in Minneapolis and London and worked behind the scenes as a hair stylist for runway models during New York Fashion Week in New York City. "There are fashion shows going on all over the city, you are racing to get from show to show. Your models are racing from show to show as well. There are celebrities watching your shows....It's very fast-paced and sooo exciting!" Connie's continuous study of current and classic fashion, combined with the mastery and love of the industry gives her the ability to work with individuals and helps create a look that is customized for them. "I love that I've gotten to do all these amazing things with my career but even better is how it influences my work in Poulsbo, bringing my client the best hair cuts, color, and foils that rivals any NYC, London or Paris salon."
