Pulling inspiration from old-Hollywood starlet’s like Sofia Loren and Elizabeth Taylor, Adir Abergel created this effortless hairstyle packed with volume and shine for Jennifer Garner at the 90th annual Academy Awards. “I wanted Jennifer’s hair to accentuate the shine and have a luxurious finish. The key to the style is beautiful, healthy hair.”, said Abergel.
To create the perfect styling palette Adir washed Garner’s hair with Full Shampoo and Conditioner, our lightest weight formula to create an airy voluminous foundation. He recommends applying conditioner only to the ends so not to weigh down the root.
He prepped for the buoyant blowout with our 6-in-1 Styler, applying from mid-shaft to ends, to create a smooth, luxurious texture. As he blow-dried the hair he rolled each section into a barrel curl and pinned in place. Before removing the pins he allowed the curls to fully cool, this maximizes memory and volume. After the curls cooled and were let down he gently brushed through her hair and added soft waves with an iron.
Abergel then created a deep side part pumping volume through the crown and flipped strands over to the side. He finished the look by spraying our Shaping Spray for all night hold.
