Elle Ferguson, Beach Waves, By Elle Ferguson

THE INSPIRATION: On Elle, I wanted to create something that felt relaxed yet still had a lot of texture.

WHAT YOU NEED:

STEPS:

  1. Apply the 6-in-1 Styler all over the hair and split end serum on just the ends.
  2. Rough dry hair until it’s about 90% dry.
  3. For the final 10% use a round brush to lift and create volume through the crown and focus air directionally down the hair to smooth ends.
  4. Take large sections, spray with Finale Shaping Spray before applying heat, and wrap around a 1.25 inch curling wand. PRO TIP: Gently stretch the curl out as you go for a soft wave.
  5.  Finished the look with a few more pumps of Split End Serum to break up the ends, giving it a piece-y lived in look.

More tips from Rena:

If you’re expecting to have a long day and want your style to last, curl your sections tighter than you normally would. This will ensure that even when the curls/waves fall, you’ll still have beautiful texture set in. Use an iron one size smaller than you would’ve used and it’s always best to let the curls set and cool before you brush it out and add finishing touches.
