2018 Critics' Choice Awards: High Gloss Blowout
Saoirse Ronan brought an angelic glow to the blue carpet at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards with her flowing golden locks. Virtue Creative Director Adir Abergel went for a high-shine, ultra smooth blowout for the occasion and shared his secrets to achieving the look with us!

- • Start by cleansing with Virtue Recovery Shampoo & Conditioner to create soft, supple strands with flowing movement.
- • Prep damp hair with Virtue Polish Unfrizz Cream — apply only from mid-shaft through the ends so not to weigh down the roots.
- • Create a deep side part using the arch of your eyebrow as the starting point for precision and drama.
- • Blow dry hair by over directing the root for lift, and then smooth the hair mid-shaft through the ends.
- • Then, take a large curling iron and barrel curl hair in large sections. TIP: Hold or pin the barrel curl until it cools for volume and that soft gorgeous wave.
- • Once hair has cooled apply a small amount of Virtue UnFrizz Cream to give that high gloss finish.
