Saoirse’s 2020 Critic’s Choice style was inspired by her Erdem gown. “The dress was beautiful, flowey, and hand embroidered with incredible craftsmanship. I wanted to keep the hair soft and romantic with clean lines.” Abergel notes.

Abergel started by applying a combination of Virtue Volumizing Primer and Virtue Volumizing Mousse throughout the roots and lightly through the mid-shaft for maximum volume. He then rough dried the hair about 80% before using a boar bristle round brush to smooth and seal the cuticle. Once the hair was fully dry he created a deep side part and used a 1 1/4“ curling iron at the crown and around the hairline. He gathered the remaining hair into a low ponytail. To embellish the look he used a yellow thread found in a fabric store in Paris and wrapped it around the elastic for a final detail.

To finish the look, Abergel sprayed the entire style with Virtue Shaping Spray.
