Jessie embodies the ultimate rock and roll vibe. I pulled references from early 50s and 60s Teddy girls and boys, Elvis, and pompadours. The inspiration was playing hard and soft finishes with the texture of the hair” shared Abergel.
Abergel first applied Virtue Volumizing Primer from roots to mids to give it the memory and hold where he needed. For intense shine, Abergel applied the NEW Virtue Healing Oil protein powered hair oil – the first of its kind multi-tasking treatment oil and reparative protein in one – to set the foundation for the style. Virtue’s proprietary Alpha Keratin 60ku® powers this unique hair oil to repair while adding shine, taming frizz, and eliminating flyaways. Simply shake the oil to activate a fresh dose with every pump.
He rough dried the hair with a Denman flat brush to create more height at the roots. Once the hair was completely dry, he took a 1 1/4″ curling iron and created big barrel cups all around the head for a tousled finish with movement. To complete the style, Abergel combined Virtue Un-Frizz Cream and another dose of Virtue Healing Oil smoothed throughout the top of the hair to eliminate any flyways. After leaving a lot of height around the front, he pulled the sides back for a half updo and secured it with hairpins.
