Here is my Hair story:

I have always relied on my hair to influence my confidence. It has been a “security blanket” for me for most of my life. I was not born with beautiful thick hair and I moved around the world in different climates trying to figure out how to create volume in my hair. I was always suggested to keep it short to maintain the lightness which would bring more volume, but I really want long hair.

Two years ago, I had a little accident with Sun in which made my hair horribly damaged and stripped off all the good proteins. It looked horrible and it affected the top half of my hair. I tried to dye it darker, but my hair would not hold in the dye. I tried something very risky and dyed it with Henna, which turned bright orange. I tried to strip the Henna with Color Oops removal, but I couldn’t leave it for long because I could feel my hair and scalp reacting badly to it. For months, I just stripped the orange color from the Henna using castor oil and olive oil until I got a strawberry blonde. I cried for days because I knew this was going to be a long journey to recover my natural hair color and repair all the damage.

As I was approaching my college graduation and commissioning to the Air Force I was planning ahead on what to wear and what my favorite asset, my hair, would look like. I follow a fellow high school classmate on Instagram and she talked about her experience with virtue products, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the travel sizes for the full line and recovery line and I fell in love! My hair felt soft, healthy, and light enough to reach a voluminous state.

I used these hair products during my milestone and it make me feel beautiful. This is a testimony that virtue hair products do much more than just make your hair healthy and beautiful. They change you and allow you to feel the best version of yourself!

Now that I will be going into military service I will be wearing my hair in a tight bun daily for years which means I will definitely need to take care of my hair with the help of dependable virtue products!
