5 Minute Waves

Our lives seem to be getting busier and busier, so we've made it our mission to make your hair routine easier! 

Adir Abergel, celebrity stylist and our Creative Director, gave us a few tips to create beautiful effortless waves with minimal tools and steps required.

Time is takes: 

5-10 minutes, depending on hair thickness

What you need:

4 hair pins, a blowdryer with difuser bag (or difuser), Virtue Moisture Defining Whip, Virtue Polish Unfrizz Cream 

To start, section dry hair into 4 even parts. Apply the Moisture Defining Whip to the first section, from ears to ends.

Note: you can go higher if you experience frizz at the root and aren’t susceptible to limp strands.

PRO TIP: apply the whip to both sides of your hand for more even distribution.

Twist the first section away from the face and wrap into a loose bun, leaving the ends out for softness, and gently secure with a hair pin. 

Wrapping away from the face will create movement and face framing waves. 

Continue these steps until all 4 buns are pinned securely. 

Apply light heat with a blow dryer and diffuser bag attachment to dry product and lock in the curl.

Allow to cool. 

Remove the pins and gently shake out your curls. 

To add shine and definition you can apply Virtue Polish Unfrizz Cream. Simply emulsify product in your hands like you would hand lotion, spreading evenly through the palm and back sides of your hands and gently rake your fingers from underneath through the ends to enhance shine and smoothness.
