Curl Refresher, with Sarah Conner
Curls require a lot of maintenance, and washing them for a fresh start every day isn’t an option, nor is it recommended.
We met with celebrity colorist and naturally curly girl, Sarah Conner, to get her tips for refreshing curls.

To start Sarah recommends prepping hair with a heat protecting styler. She recommends our Polish Unfrizz Cream as it also smooths out frayed ends and adds hydration that most curls need.
She shows us how she then selectively picks out the flat and unformed curls to spruce up with her iron. Wrapping away from the face, she takes different sized sections in random placements to avoid curl repetition, and refines and refreshes the style.
She continues to work around her head taking any sections that need love, and repeats.
PRO TIP: Sarah recommends leaving the underneath pieces in looser curls to maintain length. Curl if needed but otherwise just polish with a styling cream and let them be.
Once all curls are in place use your fingers to separate and tousle. For extra volume add a little Lifting Powder to the crown and massage in.
