2026 SAG Actor Awards: Kristen Wiig’s ‘90s Supermodel Side Part

The 2026 SAG Actor Awards red carpet brought us many memorable moments, but none captured modern nostalgia quite like Kristen Wiig.

Dressed in a minimalist silhouette, Kristen's hair was the ultimate accessory: a deep side part with a high-gloss finish and effortless waves that felt both timeless and incredibly fresh. To bring this vision to life, Virtue Creative Director and Celebrity Hairstylist Adir Abergel looked to the golden era of the runway.

THE LOOK:

THE INSPIRATION:

I loved the minimal style of the dress — it felt reminiscent of the ’90s catwalk. I wanted to mirror the shine and healthy, effortless texture of some of my favorite ’90s supermodels, like Kate Moss and Kirsty Hume.

The Night Before

Cleanse and condition with Full Shampoo & Conditioner.
Apply Overnight Scalp & Hair Elixir to the scalp and through ends for a healthy, luminous base.

The Day Of

On damp hair, generously spray Volumizing Primer all over roots to create volume with memory.
Work 2-3 pumps of Damage Reverse Serum® from roots to ends to protect and restore hair while you style.
Shake Healing Oil into your palms and work into your hands, then through hair from mids to ends for softness and shine.
Blow dry, then add waves with a large-barrel curling iron, leaving some of the ends straight.
Polish the look with a touch of Un-Frizz Cream and more Healing Oil throughout for a high-gloss finish and that signature red carpet shine.
